27 June 2026 at 10:00am - Waterloo Park, Norwich, NR3 3HX. Meeting at the Gardener's Pavilion, Rita and Clare of Waterloo Park Dyers will welcome us with refreshments and there will be an exhibition of the work they have been doing with the dyes extracted from the plants from their Dye Beds showing the beautiful colours they have produced. We will also be able to enjoy the wildflowers in their developing Wildflower Meadow.
We will then proceed to the Dye Beds where Rita and Clare will discuss the plants growing there. On route we will see the developing Drought Tolerant Beds and the Sensory area.
We will then return to the Gardener’s Pavilion where we will work with Solar Dyes and try Mark Making with Botanical Inks.
We will finish up at 12.00pm and you are free to have lunch in the café if you wish.
This promises to be a fascinating trip and all are welcome.
